Job Description (Duties):

The Manager SME will be responsible for developing business opportunities in small and medium enterprise sector across the Bank's network for business within given limits. This will include loans and deposits as well as the other bank products and services. The role holder will work closely with other relationships and Branch managers to monitor and provide expertise to grow the SME portfolio of the bank to achieve business targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* To identify and develop business opportunities from existing customers as well as potential customers
* Cross selling of banks products and services to ensure utilization and usage of all banks products.
* Oversee the improvement of product knowledge of SME sector in the branch network through training and development.
* Ensure excellent customer relations are maintained to facilitate growth in customer numbers and retention of the same.
* Monitor market and competitor activity to ensure opportunities for new customer acquisitions and enhanced market share.
* Provide senior management with appropriate reports on business progress.
* Manage coach and develop a high performance team.


Necessary Qualifications:

* A university degree preferably in a financial field. Possession of a post graduate degree or professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
* 3-5 years management experience with specific expertise in marketing/sales/product development of SME products and services with proven success results.
* Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent Client relationship management.
* Proven people, leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
