Job Description (Duties):
Job Purpose:
Responsible for executing, coordinating and monitoring in order to achieve Channel Category objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify channels in Market and Classify outlets; the candidate will have to identify key channels for the category he or she is handling and assess channels for attractiveness and recommend prioritization.
Develop channel Objectives and strategies and work closely with the sales team to achieve the same.
Combine consumer and trade activities.
Planning process facilitation and coordination.
Proactively work with the sales team of the country in ensuring country sales objectives are met. Suggest action on bridging sales gaps as and when it arises.
Necessary Qualifications:
University graduate.
3-5 years experience in the Sales/Marketing field.
Product and local market knowledge.
Ability to multi-task.
Thorough understanding of company strategies.
Local trade and international retailers knowledge.
Broad knowledge and understanding of customer needs and consumer behavior.
Retail and field management knowledge.
Good written and oral communication skills.
