Cashiers Job in Uganda at Pride Microfinance

Job Title: Cashiers

Report to the Branch Accountant. Specific responsibilities include;

• Take deposits and pay customers across the counter and ensure that all deposit and withdrawal transactions are handled with accuracy and according to laid down policies and procedures.
• Scrutinize the details of each transaction to ensure that the company is protected against fraudsters and money laundering.
• Exercise prudence and safeguard cash and other valuable items / instruments such as cheques, controlled stationary, stamps etc, in his or her custody during the course of the duty.
• Promptly post all transactions made in a day.
  

Minimum academic Qualification
The ideal Candidates should have a minimum of Bachelors degree from a reputable Institution with good grades in Commerce, Economics, Microfinance, Development Studies, Accounting and finance.

Candidates should also possess 2 principle passes at A' Level and Credit passes in English and mathematics at O' Level.

Person Specifications
The Applicants should not be more than 27 years of age and should be willing to work in any part of the country and fluent in commonly used local languages. computer literacy will be an added advantage
Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
