Job title: General Manager
Human Resources

Reports to Executive Manager

Role:
To plan, develop, coordinate & monitor implementation of Strategic Human Resource policies, Development programs and perfomance Management systems, in line with the Bank's Strategic Objectives, HR mission and HR policies and regulations

Key Result Areas:

  • Develop and monitor the implementation of HR/ Organizational development policies and standards in line with the human Resource Manual and bank Strategic plan
  • Review and evaluate the Human Resource planning function function and monitor the implementation of best practices in the recruitment, selection and retention strategies and processes in line with the Hr policies and regulations.
  • plan, develop and review the annual HR Business plan, set benchmarks for the implementation of best practices in the recruitment, selection and retention strategies and processes in line with the HR policies and regulations
  • Develop, review and monitor the implementation of the Bank's performance Management Systems and career development/ succession planning programmes in line with the HR policies and regulation.
  • Review the Bank's training and development programs and policies and provide advice in line with the bank's strategic plan and Human Resources Manual.
Required competences and Experience
A Master's degree in Human Resources, public Administration and Management,Organizational and industrial psychology or Master of Business Administration (HR Specialization)
Membership to HR professional associations

Experience and Knowledge
at least 7 years' experience in HR Management at senior management level or head of Department in a reputable organization preferably in a financial institution.
