Job Description (Duties):

Our Client is looking for an experienced sales and marketing manager i.e. commercial Manager who will be a departmental head with a team under his/her supervision.This is a key strategic position in the company and requires a person with proven experience, hands on approach and a strategic thinker.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Plan, manage & control the sales and marketing operations in line with the approved budget,
· Plan, manage and Support sales growth achievement through sales and marketing activities, ensuring that the products meet customer requirements and that future products are developed to fulfill future requirements,
· To ensure that the sales cycle process is robust enough and all the collections are within stipulated timelines.
· Oversee the formulation & development of sales & marketing communications and market research and managing Supplier relations,
· Developing and implementing the processes and procedures to achieve the departmental objectives
· To collect, analyze and communicate information about the market and competitive dynamics
· To collect and analyze the performance and drivers of key competitive segments
· To identify and use internal and external information sources to create and update key business processes and issues facing clients in each of our core segments.
· To communicate the results of key market and data analysis to the business so as to make better business decisions about our sales and marketing strategies, packaging, segmentation and positioning of our capabilities, and new product .
· To manage continuous research projects like quarterly brand tracking, quarterly customer satisfaction index research, retail audit studies and ad hoc research projects.
· To manage research vendors as and when required,
· Building quality processes to systematically implement new product and service development and ensure operational effectiveness on a day-to-day basis.
· Using relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate managerial action to ensure that all targets are met or exceeded.
· Developing a highly productive, skilled, and motivated sales & marketing workforce, through the adoption of best-in-class human resources practices and employee communications.
· Provide strategic program leadership for the various initiatives in your department..
· Set up an efficient & effective Operations Process to manage work distribution and schedule to optimally utilize available resources.
· There may be other accountabilities and duties associated with your post as may reasonably be required of you from time to time.

Necessary Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in the relevant field.
Masters in Business Administration will have an added advantage.
Practical experience with a proven successful track record is mandatory.
