Job Title: Finance Manager
Reports to: General Manager and finance director
Supervises: Team of Accountants & Inventory Manager

Role Purpose:
Establishment and ownership of financial management and business analysis for Vero foods. Takes operational responsibility for the department's output, people management and skills development

Functions:
Planning, Management, Reporting & supply chain management

• Draft the financial modeling process to facilitate the continuous assessment of business forecasts and performance for short term and long time periods.
• Inform of key key strategic decisions by generating exceptional financial reporting, dependable financial risk analysis and financial standards compliance analysis.
• Manage relations and negotiations with key financial partners
• Timely submission of periodic financial statements, profit and loss accounts, budgets etc.

Person Specifications:

• Honors degree in Commerce, BBA or equivalent and post graduate qualification in financial management is added advantage.
• Professional finance/ Accounting qualification e.g CIMA, ACCA.
• Experience of financial responsibility for a company budget, production of management accounts, accounting for value addition operations and external liaison with auditors.
