Job Title: Program Manager
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the overall implementation of the Housing Microfinance (HMF) Program and Orphans and other Vulnerable Groups (OVG) activities. This includes the design and delivery of housing micro-loan products and housing related supported services both in-house and through partnerships with Microfinance institutions as well as coordinating the OVG activities.

Reports to: National Director

Key Result Areas:
• Capacity Building: Mentoring and coaching staff in key areas of managing the program-Microfinance –partnerships and retail, financial Education, budget and planning, OVG, etc
• Innovation/ Research And Development: Develop methodologies, design housing microfinance products and implement Housing Microfinance partnerships
• System Design: Design systems for detailed work planning and implementation, monitoring / managing risk and internal/ external reporting and ensure that they function

Minimum Qualifications:
• An honors degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Microfinance, Rural Economy, Commerce and Agriculture economics
• Professional training in relevant areas of microfinance
• Management experience of 8 years in Microfinance or credit delivery
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation

• Strong willingness to work in the field
• High level of commitment to community work with minimum supervision
