Uganda Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Job at RTI International

Job Title: Uganda Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support of RTI’s activities that strengthen strategies of the National NTD control program. Ensure that all Monitoring and Evaluation activities are implemented in accordance to work plans and budget
• Upon request, liaise between RTI’s NTD Control Program in Uganda and National NTD Secretariat, Program staffs, Ministry of Health HMIS, Program partners and other national and international donors and organizations involved in NTD control activities
• Provide mentoring, training and supervision of other project staff on Monitoring and evaluation methodologies

Qualifications:
• Advanced degree, Masters or above, in public health or relevant discipline
• At least three years of progressive relevant experience in database management and program evaluation
• At least two years of profession use of SPSS, EPI-INFO, STATA and other statistical packages
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team oriented setting
• Strong English language oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Must be Ugandan
• Willingness to travel within Uganda frequently.
