Job Title: Community Development Officer:
Ref: IDSC/2011/11
Age limit: 21 years and above

Qualifications:
• An Honors degree in Development studies or any relevant Social sciences from a recognized University or institution
• Should have communication Skills
• Should have mobilization Skills
• Should have project management and supervisory skills

Duties:
• Planning and initiating for development programmes at community level
• Sensitizing communities on gender issues, social rights, roles and obligations
• Monitoring, evaluating and reporting community development programmes and projects
• Promoting the creation and growth of functional groups for the improved welfare of the population
• Training in literacy programmes and income generating activities

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the post in ibanda District. Interested candidates should obtain application form (PS Form 3) in Triplicate from Public Service Commission, the Secretaries of District service Commission or Chief administrative Officer’s Office.
