Job Title: Project Accountant
Reporting to the finance Manager for technical oversight with a dotted line to the project manager, Health and Logistics Management for operational issues, the role is responsible for ensuring adequate accounting systems and internal controls are in place for, monitoring and reporting of the project grant

Key Accountabilities:
• Managing the project annual budgeting process and monitoring thereon
• Ensuring accurate recording and processing of all transactions
• Management reporting and financial analysis in line with grant/ donor requirements
• Establishment of strong control environment for the safeguard of project assets

Qualifications and experience:
• Qualified certified/ chartered accountant (CPA/ ACCA/ACA)
• Bachelors degree in Commerce or any other Business- related discipline ( Accounting)
• 3-5 years of work experience at management level in finance and accounting with a reputable organization

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong analytical and Numeracy skills
• Ability to work within strict deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
