Job Title: Senior Environmental Inspector
Reports to: the Director/ Environmental Monitoring and Compliance Department

Main Duties
• Developing mechanisms/ strategies on environmental inspections and audits
• Monitoring the effects on the environment of any activities carried out on land, water and air
• Continuous assessment of production and engineering processes of enterprise s and their strategies for maximization waste generation at source
• Monitoring of oil and gas exploration and production processes and systems
• Implementing training programs for environmental inspectors and auditors

Qualifications:
An advanced degree in Mechanical/ production engineering; petroleum engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry (Industrial, physical or Analytical) or with a bias on productions systems

Experience:
At least 5 years experience working on production processes and systems; environmental inspections and Auditing; cleaner Production practice in industry; petroleum industry or any other related senior position in an industrial production and environmentally related field
Age: 30 years and above
