Job Title: Senior Community Development Officer
Reports to: Town Clerk

Purpose: To ensure adequate community participation in development programmes and projects through the proper coordination of al labor and community based services in the Urban Council

Person Specification:
• Should have a least an honors Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Rural Development or Social Work and Social Administration from a recognized University or institution
• Should have a working experience of at least 3 years in the field of social development or community based services at the level of community Development Officer
• Should have well developed interpersonal and communication skills

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post in the district Service. Applications should be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form No.3 to the Secretary, District Service Commission, P.O Box 1, Kiboga

The application forms are obtainable from the District Service commission, Public Service commission or district personnel Officers. Hand written applications are also acceptable. Applicants should attach photocopies of their certificates and testimonials plus a recent certified passport size photograph to each of the three application forms or letters
