Job Title: Education Programme Officer
Job Outline:
The Education Programme Officer will be required provide support to management and technical staff in the day to day management of the Education Programme

The Education Programme Officer will be expected to:
• Support the planning, implementation and monitoring of the education programme
• Support the effective implementation of the Karamoja Primary Education Programme (KPEP) at various stages of the project cycle
• Ensure proper management of documents and information related to the area of operation
• Carryout field visits related to the programme where required

Qualifications, Skills and experience required

• Minimum of a first degree in economics, development studies, business administration, education, or a related field
• Good knowledge of development issues and of Government of Uganda’s National Development plan
• 2 years relevant experience working with a development agency and knowledge in project management would be an advantage
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills
