Job Title: Senior Director of Finance
This is an opportunity of an individual with strong ability to balance strategy and execution to become part of a fast – growing organization
This role is responsible in providing support for all financial functions of PEAS Uganda secretariat/ head office and its growing network of schools across the country
Responsibilities:
This position is strategic in nature and includes a wide range of responsibilities including providing financial planning and oversight, analysis, management and donor reporting for PEAS Uganda and its network of schools
Specifics Include:
• Oversee and provide strategic direction to all financial operations of PEAS Uganda and its network of schools
• Coordinate the day-to-day functions of the finance department for PEAS Uganda
• Prepare financial analysis to aid in decision making and strategic planning
• Oversee the processing of PEAS Uganda’s payroll and associated records and reporting
• Provide the support to PEAS projects as may be assigned by Managing Director/ CEO

Requirements:
BA/BS required. MBA strongly preferred; CPA, ACCA helpful 5-7 years of related experience, with significant experience working within professional services environments; grants management experience strongly preferred
Thorough understanding of IFRS/ GAAP and complex accounting issues
