Job Title; Logistics supervisor
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Job Purpose:
To support the Logistics Manager with close supervision and coordination of and all in country road transport operations, ensuring safe and efficient passage of Tullow Operations bound goods and services

Main Accountabilities:
• Provide best time delivery of materials and equipment from Kampala to site from all suppliers
• Coordinate with all departments in field/seismic/drilling/operations/materials/freight forwarding & third party service contractors for all rig moves and for all field transport support
• Provide contracts administration in respect to contractor performance monthly payments and the like

Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in Business Studies, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Engineering
• Post graduate qualifications in road transport management

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience in Transport, logistics and warehousing

Knowledge and skills:
Essential:
• Experience in remote site logistics management
• Strong knowledge and experience of management environment
• High level of competency in Microsoft word and excel

Preferred:
• Prior experience of working in a busy logistics operation
• Working experience within an international oil exploration and production industry
