Job Title: Assistant Physical Planner
Reports to: Town Engineer

Qualifications:
• A Diploma in either physical planning, Regional Planning, Urban planning, or any other relevant qualification from a recognized training institution
• Knowledge of computer software application packages especially Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Automated Computer Aided Design (AUTOCAD) will be an added advantage

Duties of the Post:
• Planning towns and trading centres in the Town Council
• Guiding developers in processing proper building plans
• Enforcing the town and country planning Act 2010, and other relevant laws

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant positions in Kyegegwa District Local Government and Kyegegwa Town Council. Applications must be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form No.3 (Revised 2008) to the Secretary, District Service commission, P.O Box 99 Kyegegwa.
