Internal Auditor Job Vacancy in Uganda Local Government

Job Title: District Internal Auditor

Minimum Qualifications:
• Honors Bachelors degree in accounting or Auditing from a recognized university or institution plus full professional qualifications in accounting or Auditing from a recognized awarding institution
Experience:
At least 6 years working experience 3 of which at the level of senior Internal Auditor in a public or reputable private organization

Duties:
• Inspect, examine District Accounts, records to ensure adherence to financial and accounting rules & regulations
• Verify and validate payments and procurement procedures of goods and services
• Guide accounting staff on proper financial procedures & regulations
• Prepare statutory audit reports and submit them to the relevant authorities
