Job Title: REGIONAL TECHNICIAN -East

The successful candidates will demonstrate:

Ability to install, configure and maintain PABXs
Ability to carry out Cabinet and MDF jumpering
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Flexibility and willingness to work long hours
A positive approach towards work and the ability to prioritize will be vital

Applicants must have

A Higher Diploma in Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar field
Computer skills
A clean driving record

Added Advantage

Knowledge of the Telecommunication Industry
A+/CCNA Certifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

To carry out timely installation of new Land lines, Leased Lines, E1s, Broadband (ADSL, ISDN)
To promptly restore interrupted service to customer lines (Land Lines, Leased Lines, E1s, and Broadband)
To identify and advise on areas where there is no network coverage or where network improvement is required.
To ensure appropriate usage of materials and provide regular accountability of these materials
To monitor and advise on capacity of DSLAM, NODE, and Access Network
To fill in the daily customer job card on completion of an installation or fault resolved
To notify the Line Managers of any shortages of stock e.g. ports, access network or any other resource
