MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:

    An Honors Degree in Education or its equivalent from a recognized institution
    A Masters degree in Education Management or other related fields
    A minimum of 9 years’ teaching experience, 3 of which must have been in management of a recognized Education institution.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Plan and monitor the implementation of schools and institutions Inspection policies, procedures and programs in line with the K.C.CA Education Directorate and Ministry of Education and sports inspectorate guidelines
    Review and approve plans and budgets for the Pre-Primary and Primary Schools inspection programs in line with the established policies and procedures.
    Review schools’ and institutions inspection reports’ and make appropriate recommendations to improve the available compliance strategies in the Authority.
    Review and approve the implementation of programs for improvement of the performance of the Educational institutions in line with the Ministry of Education and Sports and KCCA guidelines
    Evaluate the effectiveness of the inspection programs and accordingly make appropriate recommendations in line with Directorate guidelines
    Manage the performance and development of staff in accordance with the Authority Performance Management guidelines
    Any other duties as maybe assigned by the appropriate Authorities

Applications should bear the title of the post as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy.
Applicants must not apply for more than one post. Applicants should attach certified photocopies form. Qualifications from only recognized institutions will be considered.
Applicants from outside public service should not be more than 50 years of age.
