Job Title: Procurement Officer
Reports to: Chief Executive officer
Job Purpose:
•    To ensure that ERA is resourced through an effective and efficient procurement system
•    To ensure that the procurement system complies with the set regulations and consistent with the PPDA  and any other relevant regulations

Key Responsibilities:
•    Maintain an improved list of pre-qualified suppliers
•    Facilitate the contracts committee to execute its business and follow-up the implementation of the committees decisions
•    Manage the bidding process ,from initiation, preparation of bid solicitation documents, opening and closing, evaluation and procedures in accordance with the regulations

Competencies:
•    Comprehensive working knowledge of the public procurement and Disposal Assets Act and Regulations
•    Knowledge of procurement planning
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
