Job Title: Senior Agronomist / Field Extension Coordinator
The Senior Agronomist/Field Extension Coordinator will oversee a network of technical support officers and community-based field extension workers. S/he will provide leadership to ensure that field extension staff develop and conduct programs that address priority needs of small scale farmers in the target area, utilizing a variety of approaches and technologies.
Requirement:
A degree in agricultural sciences with a bias in extension and at least 5 years experience coordinating teams of field staff in hard to reach areas, is a minimum requirement.
Previous working experience in Karamoja and Ngakarimojong language skills highly desirable.
