About this job

Our Client is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the above vacancy;

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for the watch of the Engine, and to assure the power distribution on the rig.
    Maintain the order, cleanliness and house keeping in the engine spaces all the time.
    Clean and paint mechanical material and equipment.
    Responsible for the weekly work procedure.
    Participate in the maintenance of all machinery; engines, pumps, compressors, air conditioning, etc. following the check list given by the Chief Mechanic.
    Participate at the preventive maintenance of the engines.
    Must report to his line supervisor for any abnormal situation.
    Perform any jobs requested by his line Supervisor as long as the job is within his competence.

Skills/Knowledge:

    Excellent verbal, written & communication skills.
    Effective people management skills.
    Credibility with staff & management.

Qualifications:

    Technical degree.
    Literate & numerate.
    PC literate in Microsoft Office.
    Fluent written & spoken English.
    Junior Mechanic CAP program completed.
    Minimum 3years relevant experience in an oil-field service environment with a minimum 1year as a junior mechanic or equivalent position.
