The Grants & Fundraising Manager will be responsible for the identification of opportunities for developing new resources and new donor partnerships for APCA, and expanding the grant development and fundraising portfolio, to ensure that new opportunities are explored and developed.

Main areas of responsibility

Participating in the strategic analysis and planning processes that result in the development of implementation plans and budget for APCA activities; in particular, analysing the resourcing and partnership implications of plans and identifying possible new sources of funds and collaborations.

Implementation and review of APCA's sustainability framework, developing and implementing an annual fundraising strategy, identifying and maximizing opportunities to generating and securing both restricted and unrestricted funding for APCA.

Leading the development of fundraising information and materials to support donor partnership development in line with the APCA Partnership Framework.

Managing the grants and fundraising database

To manage and develop the membership programme as a funding source for APCA

Collaborating with the Director of Resources to undertake regular cost reviews and analysis of APCA's resources to identify gaps for funding.

Qualifications and experience:

Bachelors degree in International Relations, Marketing, Public Administration, Public Relations, Business Administration or any other a development related field

At least 5 years experience in successful Grants Development and fundraising management with credible donors.

Proven experience in corporate, trust and event fundraising

Proven record of raising funds.

Ability to develop relationships with corporate partners and trusts.

Exceptional organisational, project management and administrative skills.

Personality and confidence to build lasting relationships with funders. Strong oral and written communication skills.
