Job Title: Laboratory Biomedical Waste Management Advisor

JSI is seeking to recruit suitable applicants for the above vacant post.
Responsibilities
•    Provide technical leadership in developing  and conducting  an assessment  of laboratory  biomedical  waste management  practices  in Uganda at various levels ,  and identifying  interventions  to improve  laboratory  biomedical  waste management  services and the availability  of the supplies  needed  to  manage this  waste effectively.
•    Participate in the  development  at laboratory biomedical  waste management  tools  in line  with  recommendations from the assessment

Skills
•    A biomedical, or Medical  Laboratory, or Medical  Science degree or  its  equivalent ,preferably in medical  laboratory/veterinary laboratory service. Master of public Health  would   be at added value.
•    Laboratory bench work experience and knowledge of specimen collection processing , storage  and disposal.
