Job Title: Agricultural  Innovations Officer
Africa  Innovations  Institute  (Afril), a not-for-profit  non-government  centre of excellence , undertakes  research  and  innovations  in agriculture and food systems constraints in order to  enhance income  and food and nutrition  security   of smallholder farmers in Africa.

Responsibilities
•    Coordination  of  all  project activities in  the  project  area  and reporting  to the  Principal Investigator.
•    Ensure that all  project activities  are timely implemented and outputs are achieved in an efficient  and effective  manner.
•    Ensure that resources  are  utilized  in a cost effective  manner,
•     Identify  problems  and resolve  them in a timely manner,

Qualifications
•    The  ideal candidate   shall be a holder  of Bachelors  degree  in  Agriculture, Agriculture  Extention or its equivalent ,
•    Possession of  Master of Science  or post graduate  Diploma  in Agriculture,
•    Agricultural  Extention, Rural Development , Animal  Husbandry and Community  Development is an added advantage.
Skills
•    The applicant must have  good inter-personal  and communication skills , excellent  technical report  writing skills, excellent knowledge  in computer skills i.e.  word  processing , spreadsheets,  internet tools.
•    The applicants  should possess  a valid motorcycle  license . Preference will be  given to applicants  who know the local language  and  reside in the  project  area.
