Job Title:  Online  Editor
Monitor Publications Limited is seeking  for suitable  qualified  applicants  to fill the vacant post above.
Responsibilities
•    Re-copy  taste  editorial  content  from  the  monitor  , headlines and captions for  facts , accuracy , taste , house-style, language use, clarity, details and objectivity
•    Edits  copy to  appropriate  length, clarity  and  style  without  distorting facts  or dispensing  with salient points
•    Selects  and  edits pictures  and write /re-writes appropriate captions to enhance their  quality
Qualifications
•    Basic  University    Degree
•    Diploma in Journalism
•    3 to  5  years working  experience  in a newsroom
•    Excellent writing  and editing  skills  with good understanding  of online  writing  and editing   requirements  such as the use  of keywords , hyperlinks  and navigations
