Driver Jobs Vacancy at MRC/UVRI Uganda Research Unit

Job Title:  Driver
The  MRC/UVRI  Uganda  Research  Unit  on  AIDS  is inviting  for suitable applicants  to fill the vacant post above .
Roles
•    Drive  designated  vehicles  according to current  safety  , route  and schedule  policies .
•    Record  all  journeys  undertaken  in the  log book
•    Ensure the vehicle  driven  is in safe  operation condition.
•    Report any  faults found  on the  vehicle  to the  fleet  supervisor  for immediate  rectification
Education
•    Must have  completed  A- level   or  the  equivalent .  Good  credits  in  O’ Level  Mathematics  and English  are  preferred .
•    3 years  driving  experience , two of which must  have been  in a large  , reputable  organization .
•    Good  communication  skills  in English
•    Certificate in  defensive  driving .
•    Certificate in vehicle  mechanics  is an added  advantage .
