Pharmaceutical Technologist Job Vacancy at Aga Khan University in Uganda

Job Title : Pharmaceutical  Technologist
The Aga  Khan  University  in conjunction  with the  Aga  Kham  Health  Service  in Uganda  invites  applications  for  the  position based in Kampala .
Duties
•    Receive   prescriptions from   patients , verify and  dispense  drugs  within  approved  standards  and procedures  ;
•    Ensure  the  accuracy  of the  label  before  dispensing  for  right patient, fight drug  and right  quantity  , for effective  service delivery ;
•    Verify  expiry dates  of drug  administration  for  optimum  customer  satisfaction
•    Contact  the physician  for  inaccuracy  in  prescription  orders ,
•    Maintain and update  personal  drug  knowledge  data  base
Skills
•    A  Diploma  in Pharmacy  from a recognized  Institution  .
•    S/he  must have  three  years relevant  working  experience and must  be  registered  by the  Allied  Health  Professional’s  Council with  a valid  practicing  license .
