Position: Human Resource Manager
Reports to: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Duty station: HEAD OFFICE, Kampala
Purpose of the job:
To plan, direct and control the Human Resources of the organization so that it is able to achieve its objective through the people it employs.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
• Participating in the formulation of the organization's cor¬porate strategies by advising on human resources impli¬cation of strategic decisions and taking a proactive role in the development and implementation of appropriate
• Assessing future human resource requirements in terms of both numbers and skills and competencies, formulating and implementing plans to meet these requirements.
• Directing and controlling the operations of the HR function to ensure that it provides effective services throughout PEARL and ensuring through advice and monitoring those HR policies are implemented consistently and the core values of PEARL concerning staff are upheld.
• Conducting training needs analysis (TNA) to identify training needs to staff, designing training building pro¬grammes and planning and directing HRD processes and programmes designed to improve organizational and individual effectiveness.
• Taking a lead in developing an appropriate salary struc¬ture and participating in developing appropriate perform¬ance based incentive.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the CEO.
Education:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
• Master's degree or post graduate diploma in HR Management is an added advantage.
• have been in a regulated financial institution
