Position: Internal Auditor
Duties and responsibilities
• Verifying the existence and effectiveness of the internal control systems

• Assisting the in audit planning
• Carrying out financial, operational and compliance audits
• Carrying out adhoc assignment where needed in particular areas
• Auditing procurement procedures and payments to ensure that all goods are properly ordered, received and examined in accordance with the regulations
• Producing audit reports
(b) Person specifications
• Applicants should have any of the following qualifications;Bcom;BBA or BSc.Accounting and Finance.
• At least a professional qualification ACCA level 11 or CPA level 111
• Should have a minimum of 2 years experience in internal or external audit gained with a reputable organization.
• Should have excellent knowledge of accounting, auditing and internal controls.
• Should demonstrate understanding of process flow and procedures
• Must be able to demonstrate good planning ,organizing and coordinating skills
• Should have knowledge of Microsoft office applications
• Should have good interpersonal communication and report writing skills.
