Job Title: Inspector of Schools
Salary Scale ; U4
Reports to ; District Inspector of- Schools
Age limit : 21 years and above

Duties:
* Carrying out periodic inspection of schools to ensure quality teaching and learning within and outside the classrooms.
* Organizing workshops and seminars for teachers to enhance their competence and quality teaching,
* Evaluating teachers and Head teachers' performance and making necessary recommendations
* Ensuring that the educational minimum standards as stipulated by Ministry of Education and Sports/Inspectorate are maintained,

Person Specifications:
* An Honours University Degree in Education or related discipline.
* Must be specialized in a specific subject(s)
* The incumbent must have inspection skills and know how to guide and counsel teachers,
* At least 6 years of working experience, 4 of which must be of proven quality teaching and the two in Education management in a reputable institution.
