* Who is eligible?
*
* Ugandan professionals who are holders of a bachelor's degree of a recognised university and who have at least 3 years of appropriate working experience after graduation are eligible. Applicants who received a fellowship during the 3 years before the application are not eligible. There are no undergraduate courses or courses for fresh graduates available.

* Embassy Sector Focus
*
* NFP is an instrument of Development Cooperation of the Government of The Netherlands. The Embassy Sector Focus in Development Cooperation in Uganda is an essential element of this Embassy’s Multi Annual Strategic Plan. Therefore NFP Uganda only accepts and processes applications from persons and (partner-) organisations actively involved in one of the two focus sectors or one of the three cross cutting issues in which the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands is active
* The two sectors are:
* 1) Primary Education
* 2) Justice, Law and Order
*
* The three cross cutting issues are:
* 1) Political Governance
* 2) Rehabilitation of Northern Uganda
* 3) Accountability
*
* NFP Uganda gives preferential treatment to female applicants and to applicants from up-country. Detailed information on the sector focus can be found on the Embassy’s website: http://uganda.nlembassy.org or from the contact persons in the districts and the Embassy.

* NFP application procedure
* You can start the NFP procedure if you have a provisional admission from a university in the Netherlands.
* No admission yet?
* Information about available courses under NFP can be found on the following website: www.nuffic.nl/nfp or in the brochure available at the Embassy or the NFP contact persons in the districts.
* Applications can be done through the NFP contact persons in the districts or directly through the Embassy.
* The application form needs to be filled in by applicant and employer and returned to the Embassy.
* The complete application forms will be send by the Embassy to NUFFIC in the Netherlands for final selection.

* Deadlines
* The deadline for applications for master’s, PhD’s and short courses is 01 October and 01 December for another round of short courses.
*
* What do you need to bring to apply?
* Provisional admission letter from a Dutch University
* Original letter of employment or employment contract
* A valid ID
* Original diploma’s/ degree certificates/ transcripts (transcripts without degree certificates have no legal value. If the degree certificate is not out yet, the administration of the faculty of the university of the potential applicant may issue a written testimonial in lieu of the certificate)
* Written statement from your employer
* Birth certificate
