Job title: APSF Officer

Duty Station; Kotido/Kaabong
The APFS Officer will work under the direct control and supervision of the Project Coordinator.

Job Purpose:
•Provide technical support to the APFS for both SCiUG and KDDS and Happy cow.
•Supervise and support the implementation of Community man¬aged disaster risk reduction plans and innovations for increased milk availability and access for children within the APFS and women groups.

Academic background, Experience and Person Specifications;
•A bachelor's degree in agriculture or veterinary medicine with methodology.
•Knowledge and skills in climatic change adaptation, planning alongside drought cycle model and dry land livelihoods. Should have extensive knowledge and experience in the ap¬plication of participatory tools and methodologies in program¬ming.
•Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and ability to communicate fluently in the local language desired (Ngakarimojong)
