Uganda Goverment Jobs- Principal Medical Officer

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacancies that exist in Kapchorwa District Local Government. Applications should be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form 3 (Revised 2008) or ESC form 3 (1998), whichever is applicable. Please quote the reference number of the post applied for. The forms may be obtained from the Secretary District Service Commission Kapchorwa, Offices of other District Service Commissions, or Public Service Commission/Education Service Commission in Kampala. Handwritten applications with detailed CVs/resumes are also acceptable. Candidates should attach photocopies of their certificates or testimonials together with three passport size photographs. Serving officers should route their applications through their Heads of Departments/Institutions who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delays. Qualifications:
Must have a basic qualification of an MBChB or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
A Postgraduate Diploma in Health related discipline or management from a recognized Institution.
Must be registered with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
Have a working knowledge of the Health services management for at least six years, three of which should at a level of Senior Medical Officer.
Well-developed interpersonal skills to be capable of managing and motivating staff.
