Job Title: Resource Mobilization Manager.
Reports to: Director strategic development and M&E
Duty station: COE, Mulago
Key result areas:
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy and plan in line with the strategic objectives of the organization.
- Manage and review the preparation and development of fundable quality proposals for the organization’s programmes in accordance with proposal writing guidelines.
- Follow up project proposals submitted to donors and keep proper record of all correspondences in line with organizational requirements.
- Write project and accountability reports and submit them to donors in line with donor requirements.
- Develop and maintain relations with potential donors including local funding agencies, corporate sectors and international donors in line with donor requirements, and Baylor’s funding policies and procedures.
- Facilitate training of Baylor staff and partners in fundraising and donor reporting in line with Baylor’s training strategy and guidelines.
Job specifications and personal competences:
- A Master’s degree in either Business Administration or related field an added advantage.
- 5 years working experience in fundraising and mobilization and in donor environment.
- Highly motivated team player.
- Good analytical, interpersonal communication and report writing skills with high integrity.
