Job Title: Financial Education Trainer
(9 months) base at Luwero in Luwero District
The Financial Education Trainer is responsible for implementing the activities of the financial Education Project in the field.
Responsibilities include:
1 To deliver the financial education modules, with responsibility for recruiting clients, carrying out training courses and managing the financial education project at branch level.
2 Contributes to the development and customization of customized training / Technical assistance products and services in the areas of financial education for Habitat for Humanity Uganda’s target market within the communities served by the Branch.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of a Diploma in financial management or related field. Additional training in Financial Education, Adult/ Youth Learning techniques or a related field is beneficial. Previous experience of conducting Financial Literacy Facilitation, Client service, presentation and /event planning is an added advantage. Minimum of one year working experience with an NGO, preferably in a microfinance setting or community development. Computer literacy, ability or willingness to ride a motorcycle, and knowledge of the local language (Luganda) of the community.
