Job Title: Credit Manager
Posts: 1 Position

Job Purpose.
To develop and implement credit structures that will enable the proper functioning of the credit function in line with the corporate strategy.
Key outputs
• Monitor the loan book to ensure that the set targets are achieved.
• Ensure quality performance of the loan portfolio ie PAR 1 day kept below 5%
• Staff being knowledgeable in credit underwriting and risk analysis.
• Reports on credit risks identified and submitted to supervisor with recommendations made for mitigating them.
• Identified measures to ensure compliance to credit policies and procedures.
• Implemented strategies to minimize credit risk at all branches

Key Responsibilities.
• Provide preventive and remedial maintenance of computer hardware and software e.g by blowing out dust, etc
• Install, upgrade, update, diagnose, software by down loading patches and running them on the computers.
• Troubleshoot and maintain a variety of computer software and hardware; configure various computers according to set standards.
• Install, diagnose, repair and troubleshoot basic problems with network equipment, connections, and nodes; including workstations, servers, printers, modems, and peripheral equipment.
• To install the Anti – Virus by down loading and install them on the computers
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of repair practices, policies, and technical specifications of microcomputer hardware.
• Ensuring that users are able to work by giving rights
• Maintain inventory records, record and track problems and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Provide technical assistance to staff, technical support, analysis, and training in the use of computers and peripheral devices.
• Undertake any other assignment related to information systems technology as may be assigned by supervisors from time to time.


Job requirement

Minimum qualification requirements and competencies:
• A Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical &
• Electronics Engineering.
• Two (2) year’s relevant experience gained in a corporate environment.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to transfer knowledge and provide guidance to others.
• Ability to work long hours without supervision.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
