Planning Monitoring & Evaluation Officer Job in Uganda at National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS)

Job Title: Planning Monitoring & Evaluation Officer( 2 posts)
Job Purpose:
coordinate and support overall planning and budgeting for the NAADS organization and develop project proposals to enable it attract the rquired resources to effectively deliver on its mandated functions

Key Functions:

• Prepare strategic plans, master budget and guidelines to guide the NAADS Secretariat on the priority actions and resource allocation
• Support local Governments and other stakeholders to undertake effective programming
• Develop and disseminate Technical standards and guidelines for NAADS implementation
• Plan and implement periodic technical audits of the NAADS activities at all levels of implementation.

Person Specifications
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Statistics, BSc Econ, B/Agric Econ;
Masters in Planning and monitoring, public policy and planning.
Postgraduate qualification in Project Planning and Management

Experience:
At least 5 years relevant experience, 3 of which must have been at Senior Officer level, with increasing responsibilities demonstrated in the planning management administration of agricultural or rural development projects in public sector, perfomance monitoring and financing

Competence:
