Job Title: University Bursar
Reports to: University Secretary
Deputy Station: Main Campus Masaka

Main Function; He/ she heads the department of Finance. He/ She is a member of top Management.

Accountability Profile:

• Establishing effective and appropriate systems of accounting and budgeting
• Advising Management on all financial matters particularly the use of funds
• Managing cash and bank holdings recorded with the books of accounts.
• forecasting the University cash requirement'supervising prompt collection of university income
• Participating in contract negotiation with external services providers
• Ensuringof safe custody of all financial records.

Qualifications:
The candidate should have a;

• First relevant degree ( BCOM,BSA in Finance/ Accounting)
• In addition, possesses MBA/ MSC ( Accounting, finance) or and Professional qualifications e.g CPA, ACCA,CIMA, etc
• Have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Have a track record of managing large finance budgets in reputable institutions.
