Job Title: Principal Marketing Officer
Reports to: Manager Pole Plant and Stores
Duty station: Lugogo

Purpose of the Position:
To develop and implement the marketing strategy for the Pole Plant and stores in accordance to UEDCL policies and guidelines.

Key Result Areas:
• Formulate, maintain and keep an updated marketing strategy for the pole plant that suits the prevailing marketing requirements at any time.
• Carry out Market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
• Study the competitors’ products and services with a view of introducing improvements in the UEDCL pole products and services

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• A Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Business administration or Commerce, with a specific Post graduate qualification in Marketing
• A masters in business Administration with a bias in Marketing is an advantage
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in a related field in a recognized organization within the manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
