Reports to: Regional WSDF Branch Manager

Role:
Assist the functioning of the delegated Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU) at the Water and Sanitation Development Facility to carryout general duties related to supporting the procurement process, administration and records management at the delegated PDU



Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist WSDF regional branch in preparation of procurement plans and subsequent incorporation to the overall Ministry of Water and Environment Procurement and Disposal plans and participate in all activities involved in the procurement cycles
• Assist drafting and review of biding documents
• Prepare and submit bidding documents to Contracts Committee for approval
• Issue approved bid documents to approved providers

Qualification:
• Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management from recognized University
• Professional qualification in procurement, logistics or supply chain management will be added advantage

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least 2 years experience in procurement in a reputable organization
• Knowledge and Experience in local and central government procurement procedures will be an added advantage
