Job Title: Principal Internal Auditor
Reports to: District Council
Main Purpose:
To ensure that financial transactions are properly conducted, funds accounted for and value of money attained

Person Specification
• Bachelors degree with a bias in Accounting or an equivalent qualification in auditing
• Working experience of at least 6 years in accounting, preferably in a public institution 3 of which should be at the level of senior internal auditor
• Should have extensive knowledge of public financial systems, procedures and regulations
• Well developed interpersonal and public relations skills

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post in the district Service. Applications should be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form No.3 to the Secretary, District Service Commission, P.O Box 1, Kiboga

The application forms are obtainable from the District Service commission, Public Service commission or district personnel Officers. Hand written applications are also acceptable. Applicants should attach photocopies of their certificates and testimonials plus a recent certified passport size photograph to each of the three application forms or letters
