Job Title: District Education Officer
Reports to: Chief Administrative Officer

Main Purpose:
To coordinate, give technical and professional guidance and advice in the management, accountability and implementation of policies, programmes and decisions for the betterment of the education sector in District

Person Specifications:
• An Honors degree in education from a recognized university or institution plus a diploma in education Management and Planning
• At least 9 years working experience, three of which must have been at principal level U2 and in Management of an educational or gained from professional experience in a managerial capacity


How to Apply:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post in the district Service. Applications should be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form No.3 to the Secretary, District Service Commission, P.O Box 1, Kiboga

The application forms are obtainable from the District Service commission, Public Service commission or district personnel Officers. Hand written applications are also acceptable. Applicants should attach photocopies of their certificates and testimonials plus a recent certified passport size photograph to each of the three application forms or letters
