Job Title: Physical Planner
Ref: NMC/ DSC/15/2012

Key Functions:
• Planning towns and trading centres in the municipal council
• Guiding developers in processing proper building plans
• Enforcing the town and country planning Act, 1964 and other relevant laws
• Drawing the structural land use lay out
• Drawing site plans for plot (building) developments and processing their approval

Person Specifications:
Qualifications
• An honors Bachelors Degree in either physical planning; regional planning; Urban Planning or any other relevant qualification from a recognized training institution
• Knowledge of computer software application packages specially Geographical information Systems (G.I.S) and automated Computer Aided Design (AUTOCAD)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacant posts existing in Ntungamo District local Government, ntungamo Municipal council and town councils.
Applications should be submitted in triplicate on public service commission form 3 (Revised 2008) to the secretary- Ntungamo District service commission to be received not later than 31st January 2012
The applications are obtainable from secretaries of District Service Commissions, offices of chief Administrative officers, Town Clerks for municipal Councils, Public service Commission and submitted to the Ag: Secretary, District Service Commission P.O Box 1 Ntungamo stating clearly the post applied for and the reference number

Photocopies of academic certificates, transcripts, pass slips, registration certificates and annual practicing licenses where applicable and any other supporting documents with 3 passport size photographs which must be attached on the application forms
