PROJECT OFFICER

We are currently seeking a highly creative, organised, efficient and self-motivated Ugandan national to support the management of our projects. This is an entry level position with a high degree of potential growth within the company.

Roles and responsibilities Key responsibilities of this position relate to supporting the management and implementation of projects including;

* Tracking progress of contract (work plan, reporting, deliverables)
* Reviewing reports and other documents generated on the project
* Support in identifying, selecting and coordinating personnel
* Support to the management of personnel
* Preparing review of personnel/consultants at end of contract
* Drafting and reviewing project progress reports
* Administrative and logistical support to the project
* Support to coordinating project activities
* Support the research of technical areas for inputs into projects where appropriate.
* Support business development initiatives when required
* Formatting documents and CVs
* Drafting correspondence
* Support to office operations as required

Skills and experience:
* Ugandan national with minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant field
* Some related experience preferred
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent writing skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
* High degree of flexibility and creativity
* Good inter-personal skills
* Excellent English language skills
* Location: Naguru, Kampala
