Job Title: Child Protection and Development Manager
Reports to: Associate Director, Children in Ministry

Role of the Position:
The position will be responsible for the protection of children’s rights and guide area development programme in integrating children’s rights protection in prgramme design and implementation through out world vision Uganda Programme

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop child protection Strategy in accordance with the national Office Context, East Africa Regional and international strategic priorities
• Build the ADP’s capacity on child protection and rights issues including guidance on how to access legal aid
• Profile child rights violations for advocacy and redress

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must have possess any of the following degrees: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Social Work and Social Administration (SWASA), Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education
• Post graduate qualification in Human Rights, Development Studies from a recognized institution is an added advantage
• Must be a committed Christian
