Job Title: SURVEYOR (1 VACANCY) REF. DSC 15/70/02 SALARY SCALE: UGANDA GOVERNMENTSCALE KCCA 7 AGE: 22 AND ABOVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE Applicants should be Ugandans holding an honor’s Degree in Land Surveying or any other closely related course from a recognized University. Possession of postgraduate qualifications in Land Surveying from a recognized/awarding institution will be an added advantage. Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience gained at officer level in Government or equivalent level of relevant experience from a reputable organization. He/she should have the following Key competences: Proven integrity and confidentiality, oral and written communication, working as part of a team, good interpersonal relations, Ability to work and produce accurate results in an environment with multiple and challenging tasks DUTIES:- The incumbent will be responsible to the Supervisor Land Surveying for performing the following duties:- ? Planning and conducting land survey for identified infrastructure corridors and sites ? Researching on legal boundaries of property, preparing and providing comprehensive data and reporting for effective decision making and court hearing in cases of legal disputes regarding boundary locations ? Investigating encroachments on property boundaries and report them to the necessary parties for action ? Issuing and authenticating the resultant deed plans as per the approved work plans ? Managing the control of operations in KCCA Drawing office ? Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time How to Apply: Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacant posts in Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), during the third phase of the recruitment exercise.
