Job Title: Human Resource Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Job Objective:
To provide practical, consistent and proactive support, direction and advice to human resource staff and other division managers on HR procedure, policy, best practice, employment rewards, benefits and legislation to facilitate in achieving the objectives and targets of the organization
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Planning, developing and implementing strategy and policies for HR management and development including recruitment and selection policy, medical care, discipline
• Establishing and maintaining appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development including human resource information systems
• Monitoring, measuring and reporting on HR issues, opportunities, development plans and achievements within agreed formats and time frames
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, social work and social administration, organizational psychology or any other related field
• Masters Degree in Human Resource management, social work and social administration, organizational psychology or any related field
• Knowledge of the existing Uganda labor laws
