Job Title: Program Officer
Accountability/ Reporting:
The position holder report to the Area Manager with a dotted line to the federation chairman
Location: KAFOC Secretariat office with frequent work movement to the communities above

Key Result Areas:

• Play a leading and participatory role in the development, implementation, monitoring and Evaluation of the ;area Strategic plan
• Provide technical assistance to the federation structures and staffs in program planning, implementation and management
• Develop a strong children and youth agency at the community level
• Representation, networking and advocacy

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of a degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Education, community psychology, ;social work and social administration, adult and community education, computer literacy
• a post graduate diploma/ experience in 3 years work experience in community development field with non- governmental and community based organization
• Demonstrable experience in leadership, interpersonal relations and team building
