Our Client Total E&P Uganda is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the above vacancy;

Main Job Responsibilities:

    Develop, update and monitor the Company’s bio-diversity strategy and co-ordinate with other environmental strategies to ensure the implementation of a phased long-term bio-diversity program.
    Relate biodiversity issues faced in the Murchison Falls National Park and ensure that all operational and associated activities meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
    Job holder will be permanently based in the Albertine Region, Exploration Area 1.

Qualifications and Experience:

    University degree or equivalent. in ecology, biodiversity assessment or monitoring.
    A proven track record of working in one or more of the following areas: behavioral observation of animals, applied botany, wetland or fisheries natural resource management, or management of large-scale conservation projects.
    Previous experience in the GIS/GPS spatial data collection is a plus.
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
